One-of-a-kind stoneware bowl hand built by furniture designer and ceramic artist Alex Muradian. This bowl is made in Westhampton, NY, and features a beautiful wavy pattern and is finished textured glaze. To accentuate the lizard-like texture, the bowl is glazed fired twice, once with just white then, followed up with the black glaze, to accentuate the texture and color. Part of a series exploring the fascinating behavior of clay, revealing its fabric-like qualities as it gracefully folds.
